Yes, our entire team are members of CUPE Local 3532. Our team has been unionized since 1971. We pay the highest wages in the industry, pay full salary for all days off, provide the most comprehensive benefits in our industry, and are the only travel company with a multi-sector pension plan.
What does Fly Union mean?
Your reservation process starts with a unionized professional handling all aspects of your travel requirements, including schedule changes, cancellations, ticket exchanges, unused credits on file all on unionized airlines such as Air Canada (set as a link to the list of unions in each Airline). For example: CUPE Airline Division, Air Canada Pilots Association, IAMAW, Air Transat, Calm Air, Canadian North, Flair, PAL Airlines, Pascan, Sunwing, and WestJet.
What does Stay Union mean?
Your WE Union Travel professional will book your union’s negotiated rate, our exclusively negotiated union rates, hotel specials, or whichever lowest rate our search engines find that best suite your needs. Group reservations are booked by our Conference Services Department.
What does Meet Union mean?
Our Conference Services Department is your executive assistance team dedicated to ensuring your conference requirements are procured through the RFP process, the setting up site inspections and the summary sheets for your decision making, and contract preparation and signing. We then set up your delegates booking process as per your directions.
We secure bookings, cancellations, or changes for the delegates. Room blocks are managed for pre and post night requirements, “tba” management, attrition monitoring, and additional room procurement.
Does my union conference co-ordinator have access to our data and reporting?
Absolutely. We can set up as many members of your team as requested to access a suite of reports customized to each union’s contact. We can also send customized reports upon request and/or set up a frequency of automatically delivered reports.
